  • SANITATION

    Keep the production facility sanitized by following GMP guidelines.


    • Disassemble plant equipment and protect sensitive equipment from damage during sanitation process,

    Including:

    • Unplugging all equipment prior to sanitation
    • Making sure all electrical components are fully covered before sanitation process begins Follow Standard Cleaning Procedures (SCP) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SOWl's) to clean equipment and facility at a microbiological level.
    • Responsible for pressure washing industrial equipment and ensuring that all equipment is properly cleaned, sanitized, and inspected for cleanliness.
    • Improve sanitation process by reducing use of resources (i.e., water, wastewater, chemicals, labor) whenever possible.
    • Wear proper PPE and follow GMP's and other company rules.
    • Will adhere to the Quality Risk Management Procedures (QRMP) principles and are committed to the delivering totheir assigned standard(s) requirements.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • May push pull upto 1001bs of equipment Bending, squatting, standing for long periods of time
    • May lift up to 50-75lbs worth of equipment
    • Grasping heavy equipment for extended period longperiods of standing
    • Must be able to work with residue from animal carcasses, blood and other liquids

  • MACHINE OPERATOR

    Tends plastic tube cutting and marking machines such as Artos cutting machines and Kingsley hot stamp foil marking machines, and performs the following duties. 

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 


    • Reads, writes, and comprehends written and verbal instructions in English. 
    • Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. 
    • Interprets P.O.s and drawings. 
    • Responsible for machine and job set-up according to drawings or instructions. 
    • Performs type setting. 
    • Adds, subtracts, multiplies and divides numbers, including decimals. 
    • Ability to read (use) a ruler, scale, and calipers 
    • Places workpiece in fixture or against guides as required on parts. 
    • Responsible for maintaining quality of cutting on marking of parts. 
    • Performs continuous inspection to insure output meets or exceeds customers' requirements, for example ensuring accuracy of positioning, & clarity & length of parts. 
    • Performs machine set-up & maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or workpieces. 
    • Utilizes computers for creating labels and using automated timekeeping system. 
    • Responsible for keeping work areas clean and performs duties safely

  • FORKLIFT OPERATOR

    Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Powered Industrial Equipment. The Forklift Operator is responsible for utilizing the lift equipment to move, load, unload, and stack products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs.


    Essential duties and responsibilities:

    - Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution such as reach, slip sheet and push/pull equipment

    - Load, unload, and store products and/or materials

    - Stack and/or transport materials and products to designated areas.

    - Use equipment to scan product and print labels

    - Complete paperwork and operate inventory management systems as needed

    - Ensure product rotation procedures are followed

    - Complete cycle count as required

    - Perform daily safely inspections per the safety checklist on forklift trucks

  • CNC LATHE OPERATOR

    The CNC Lathe Operator sets up and operates one or more CNC machine tools, bar loaders and feeders, to specification on a production basis. Ensures work is performed ethically while achieving the objectives stated in the Company Quality Policy. Ensures work is completed efficiently and adequately while following company safety policies and procedures. Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Set up machines to the Manufacturing Set-Up Specifications.
    • Load raw material, load CNC program, and install assigned tooling, begin running machine to produce first article inspection pieces. 
    • Begin running machine while monitoring the operation through visual and audio observation. Inspect and measure machined parts/components using a variety of inspection equipment to verify conformance to print. 
    • Monitor all machine accessories during the machining operation and replace worn machine accessories such as inserts, blades, drills, taps, end mills.
    • Monitor all cutting/lubrication fluids in the machines and add oil to the machine reservoir when required.
    • Follow standard operating procedures for completing each work order and after each job tear down the machine and prepare for next set-up per work instructions.
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Ensure floors and equipment are clean and dry, the workstation is uncluttered, and all machines and equipment are free from any hazards 
    • Comply with all company policies and procedures Adhere to department expectations. Meet/exceed department performance expectations such as throughput, productivity, quality, and safety.

    KEY PERFORMANCE

    • Machine produces conforming parts and is ready to run out the order.

    • Complete each work order and properly prepare for the next work CNC Lathe Operator 2 order.

    Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments by performing the following duties.

    • Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

    Responsible for the following aspects of quality in the plant.


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist in maintaining customer drawings and specifications
    • Provide all necessary paperwork to shop floor for production
    • Provide all necessary measuring equipment and tools to production
    • Calibrate all measuring instruments in house and maintain instruments
    • Responsible party for an ISO 9001 process
    • Report and assist in answering any questions on customer specifications brought forth by the production employees

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Working knowledge of measurement techniques
    • Knowledge of ISO 9001 system
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
    • Ability to communicate techniques to employees
    • Ability to operate CMM / Faro Arm
    • One year experience as a quality technician
