WORK ENVIRONMENT

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Powered Industrial Equipment. The Forklift Operator is responsible for utilizing the lift equipment to move, load, unload, and stack products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution such as reach, slip sheet and push/pull equipment
- Load, unload, and store products and/or materials
- Stack and/or transport materials and products to designated areas.
- Use equipment to scan product and print labels
- Complete paperwork and operate inventory management systems as needed
- Ensure product rotation procedures are followed
- Complete cycle count as required
- Perform daily safely inspections per the safety checklist on forklift trucks
- Ensure facility is inspection ready at all times for customer needs
- Communicate and report any incidents to supervisor
- May perform housekeeping duties
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor

Responsible for being cross-trained in all areas of the warehouse ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security and productivity.
Essential Duties and responsibilities:
- Read pick tickets to determine style, color, and quantity
- Pick orders quickly and accurately to customer specifications
- Verify product in bin location matches item on pick ticket
- Fold and pack product neatly
- Move empty boxes to appropriate location
- Ship orders using RF scanner or computer, if required
- Place packing slip in box
- Tape up boxes from the conveyor
- Assist customers in Customer Pickup (CPU) with their boxes, if required
- Load outbound freight on the truck line
- Unload inbound shipments safely and move boxes to storage locations
- Ensure inbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances
- Safely operate pallet jack while moving pallets
- If operating machinery, inspect and maintain equipment daily and perform preventative maintenance when necessary
- Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and complies with OSHA standards
- Assist in inventory and cycle counting, when necessary
- Meet minimum production and accuracy requirements
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment
Requirements:
• Must possess the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
• Must have basic math skills
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and best practices
• Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
• Technical capacity to reconcile stock counts to reported data
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to analyze and solve problems regarding received, stocked, or delivered materials
• Must be forklift certified
• Must frequently lift items over 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

The CNC Lathe Operator sets up and operates one or more CNC machine tools, bar loaders and feeders, to specification on a production basis.
